The Solution. When creating a list in the UI from an array with JSX, you should add a key prop to each child and to any of its' children. React uses the key prop create a relationship between the component and the DOM element.
It is therefore very important that the key always remains unique, otherwise there is a good chance React will mix up the elements and mutate the incorrect one. It is also important that these keys remain static throughout all re-renders in order to maintain best performance.
It's a unique and constant id that React uses to identify each component in the DOM and to know whether it's a different component or the same one. Using keys ensures that the child component is preserved and not recreated and prevents weird things from happening.
React's key prop gives you the ability to control component instances. Each time React renders your components, it's calling your functions to retrieve the new React elements that it uses to update the DOM. If you return the same element types, it keeps those components/DOM nodes around, even if all the props changed.
I've had exactly the same problem as you for a while now, and after looking at some of the suggestions above, I finally solved the problem.
It turns out (at least for me anyway), I needed to supply a key (a prop called 'key') to the component I am returning from my renderSeparator method. Adding a key to my renderRow or renderSectionHeader didn't do anything, but adding it to renderSeparator made the warning go away.

You need to provide a key.
Try doing this in your ListView Rows if you have a key property:
<TouchableHighlight key={item.key} underlayColor='#dddddd'>
If not, try just adding the item as the key:
<TouchableHighlight key={item} underlayColor='#dddddd'>
You can also use the iteration count (i) as the key
:
render() {
return (
<ol>
{this.props.results.map((result, i) => (
<li key={i}>{result.text}</li>
))}
</ol>
);
}
Change your code from:
render() {
return (
<ol>
{this.props.results.map((result) => (
<li>{result.text}</li>
))}
</ol>
);
}
To:
render() {
return (
<ol>
{this.props.results.map((result) => (
<li key={result.id}>{result.text}</li>
))}
</ol>
);
}
Then solved.
