The best web-based HTML editors like ckeditor, niceedit, tinymce? [closed]

I was looking for a web-based HTML editor for my website's backend. I narrowed down to 3 - Nicedit (good, but not maintained anymore), tinymce and ckeditor.

While I'll be going with either tinymce or ckeditor, I was also looking for a plugin that would manage my media (pictures, videos as such) that can be inserted into the HTML area. There is of course CKFinder and MCFilemanager but they are not open source.

I was wondering if there were any open source plugins for that? Also, if there is a better option for an open source web-based text editor, please do suggest.

Thanks

In my search for the media plugin, I found the KCFinder - http://kcfinder.sunhater.com/ - An open source alternative to CKFinder. And it is pretty good!

Currently using CKEditor with KCFinder.

Also, the KCFinder can be integrated with TinyMCE or used standalone as well.
