What is the easiest way of mapping a texture image on top of a bare 3D mesh using Meshlab, where the UV texture coordinates have not been specified?
SAVING A PROJECT IN MeshLAB It can be saved with the format MLP (default meshlab project file) or ALN (align file) under the menu FILE. Both this kind of files can be edited with a text editor.
Filters -> Parameterization -> Per Triangle or flat plane (pick your preference)
