I upgraded IE on my machine and found the upgraded developer tools better. However whenever I select the Network tab, IE hangs or freezes. I can do nothing on it.
Is there some setting that I might be missing to get it to work?

In the left pane, click/tap on to expand User Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows Components, Internet Explorer, and Toolbars. 3. In the right pane, double click/tap on Turn off Developer Tools.
Press F12 to bring up dev tools in Edge. This undocks the dev tools then press: CTRL+SHIFT+WINDOWS BUTTON + RIGHT ARROW to move the undocked dev tools to the right of the screen and you can use your mouse to adjust the width of the dev tools relative to your main window.
To access IE Developer Tools, you launch Internet Explorer and press F12 on your keyboard or select “F12 Developer Tools” on the “Tools” menu. This opens the developer tools inside the browser tab.
There is an entry in Microsoft Connect database for that. Unfortunately, there is no fix for now...
