I'm using the Solarized-light
theme in Notepad++. The default font of this theme is consolas 10
. I've reset the size to 12 but every time I open Notepad++, the font size changes back to 10 again. It's really annoying to have to change it. Is there anyway to keep the font size as default?
How do I change the font size on Notepad? Open a new notepad and click "Format" on the top left. In the drop down menu, click "Fonts." You can choose your font size there.
Go to Format > Font > Font. + D to open the Font dialog box. Select the font and size you want to use. Select Default, and then select Yes.
Head over to Settings / Style Configurator. Select the font name and enable checkbox against Enable global font . Click on Save & Close.
The Windows Notepad default font name is “Lucida Console.” The default style is “Regular,” and the default font size is “12.” Open Microsoft Notepad. Click on “Edit” and select “Font.” Under “Font,” you will see a drop-down list for the font family, size and style.
Well you can do it simply from the style settings.
Go to Settings> Style Configurator
and set the desired font size for the theme, and set the Style as Global Override
and check the Enable global font size
checkbox.

This should work.
Settings > Style Configurator. Under Font Style you can set the font and size
