Does anyone know of a good tool to test Schema.org (http://schema.org/) markup?
The Google Rich Snippet tool does not support it properly. Even with the correct markup given, it says "Insufficient data to generate the preview."
update: Now the Google Rich Snippet tool supports some schema.org markups.
Schema Markup Validator (SMV) The Schema Markup Validator is based on the Google Structured Data Testing Tool. The service, provided by Google for the Schema.Org community, can validate Schema.Org based structured data embedded in web pages, otherwise known as schema markup.
The Google Structured Data Testing Tool (SDTT) is a free tool created by Google to help you validate and test the syntactical correctness and alignment to Google recommendations of your schema markup. It is a fairly easy web development tool to use, so don't be scared.
How do I know if my schema is working? If you implement the Schema, you can use the Google Rich Result Testing Tool to get advanced results in the output and the Schema Markup Verification Tool (SMV) for any schema markup errors, which has now been replaced Google Structured.
Go to to the Schema Markup Validator. Paste the URL from Google Search Console that has a breadcrumb error. Click 'Run test'.
This one came to my attention recently. linter.structured-data.org
I like that it generates a preview when the Google Rich Snippet tool reports "Insufficient data to generate the preview." The structured-data tool also generates a more structured, almost graphical result, which makes the results a bit easier to understand.
