I'm trying to add facebook's "send to messenger
" to my web page.
On Fb's documentation it states:
When there isn't an active session, no identity is surfaced. When the button is clicked, we will present a Login dialog.
But what I realize is that if a user is not logged in to facebook the button doesn't get rendered at all. Is this the expected behaviour?
PS- Note that my fb app is not in dev mode and I'm using the a fb account with admin role for that app.
At most times, the app's internal issues such as bugs or glitches may restrict Facebook Messenger from displaying the message. Hereby, here you need to restart the Facebook Messenger app as many times as a simple restart fixes most of the glitches that stop the app from running properly.
The person you're trying to message deactivated or deleted their account. You've blocked the person you're trying to message or they've blocked you. You're trying to respond to a group conversation that the other members of the conversation have already left.
You might see "This person is unavailable on Messenger" if you can't Facebook message someone. If your friend has deactivated their Facebook account, you won't be able to send messages to them. If you've been blocked by someone, Facebook messages won't go through to them.
To find out if someone has blocked you on Messenger, you should first send them a message. If your message is not delivered, even after the recipient has been online, you're most likely blocked. To tell if your message isn't delivered, it will have an empty circle with a check mark for an icon.
If you app has not yet been reviewed, the login dialog and button only appear for individuals with certain roles - admin, developer, tester, and insight users.
Also it can take a few moments to load.
