I'm working with NotePad++ text editor, the 'Search Results' window does not show up anymore, i've tried to open it from the menu (Search Result Window F7), but it does not seem to have any effect, how can i restore it?

To do that, you can either hit the F7 key or click on the Search menu and select the Search Results window.
Finding text in Notepad and WordPad The Ctrl + F and Command + F keyboard shortcut keys also work in Microsoft Notepad and Microsoft WordPad.
Find tab: Gives access to searching and counting. It can be invoked directly with Search > Find or the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+F. Replace tab: Similar to Find tab, but allows you to replace the matched text after it's found. It can be invoked directly with Search > Replace or the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+H.
The issue seems happens if I change monitors configuration , e.g. if I worked on laptop with 2 attached monitors, and next time open Notepad++ when having single laptop monitor.
For me it was sufficient to delete %appdata%\Notepad++\config.xml (not the whole folder).
