Is it possible to have parental control in iOS? Like the admin can decide which app user can access, restrict internet access , contacts, photos etc for particular user?
Once you have already connected to Family sharing and protect your child's phone settings with a passcode, then you can manage your kid's iPhone remotely.
Go to Settings and tap Screen Time. Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions. If asked, enter your passcode. Under Allow Changes, select the features or settings that you want to allow changes to and choose Allow or Don't Allow.
Set downtime and app limits on a family member's device On your family member's device, go to Settings > Screen Time. Tap Turn On Screen Time, tap Continue, then tap This is My Child's iPhone. To schedule downtime for your family member (time away from the screen), enter the start and end times, then tap Set Downtime.
Once your child reaches the age of 13 (or equivalent minimum age depending on jurisdiction), they will be permitted to maintain their account without participating in Family Sharing.
This is not possible for a third-party app and a non-jailbroken device. Did you look at Settings → General → Restrictions? It’s not exactly what you’re after, but it’s a good start.
Actually, this is possible, using the Device Enrollment Program. (This YouTube video found by Kudi shows the device enrollment profile installation procedure.) The DEP is mostly meant for large companies managing their company devices, but apparently it can also be used for other features. It would be interesting to hear the details from somebody who has jumped through the hoops, I have no experience with DEP myself.
