ios 6.1 update seems to have stopped html placeholder's working on the iPad and iPhone.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Standard iPad. The standard 10.2-inch iPad is the cheapest you can buy, but also the heaviest and thickest of all the non-Pro iPads. While it still weighs under 500g, the large screen and slightly bulkier size means it's best suited for use when you're sitting down.
iPads tend to be more stable and easier to use than other tablets. The iPad is still in the lead when it comes to the number of available and useful apps. Android currently has fewer apps which are optimized for tablets. However, this is increasing all the time.
As a workaround I detect the user agent then display a label rather than relying on the placeholder text.
