Is it possible to import a Confluence xml dump into Mediawiki? If so, any guidance will be appreciated.

XML Dumps contain the content of a wiki (wiki pages with all their revisions), without the site-related data. A XML dump does not create a full backup of the wiki database, the dump does not contain user accounts, images, edit logs, etc.
Perform the exportEdit Go to Special:Export and paste all your page names into the textbox, making sure there are no empty lines. Save the resulting XML to a file using your browser's save facility.
