Visual Studio "15" was released on the 30th March.
Can Visual Studio "15" preview be safely installed along side Visual Studio 2015?
The news article doesn't seem to say one way or another and everything I hit on google only talks about 2015, not "15".
Yes you can install multiple versions of Visual studio side by side.
You can install and use Visual Studio 2019 alongside previous versions of Visual Studio, including Visual Studio 2017, Visual Studio 2015, Visual Studio 2013, and Visual Studio 2012.
With the release of version 16.11, we are no longer offering feature updates to Visual Studio 2019 Preview. To continue previewing new Visual Studio features, we recommend you install Visual Studio 2022 Preview. Use the buttons below to install.
A newer version of Visual Studio might not support certain projects at all, or it might require that you update a project so that it's no longer backwards-compatible. For current status on migration issues, refer to the Visual Studio Developer Community.
@NikolaiDante, yes you can install Visual Studio "15" Preview alongside Visual Studio 2015. I have installed Visual Studio 2015 and Visual Studio "15" preview and both are working fine.
Even though you can see in the screenshot That I am Using 4 Versions of Visual Studio (Visual Studio 2012, Visual Studio 2013, Visual Studio 2015, and Visual Studio "15") and all 4 version are working fine.
