Does anyone have a free text-editor that works well in Windows 7? I'm currently useing Programmer's Notpad 2, but it keeps crashing or having UI bug issues.

Notepad++ Notepad++ is an excellent alternative notepad application for Windows computers. It's really easy to use for beginners who just need a text file opener or editor but also includes some really advanced features.
Notepad++ is a text editor and source code editor for use under Microsoft Windows. It supports around 80 programming languages with syntax highlighting and code folding. It allows working with multiple open files in a single window, thanks to its tabbed editing interface.
Notepad++ is working fine for me with no problems.
