I want to learn APL (more specifically Dyalog APL), but I can't seem to find any good sources to learn from.
The only source I could find was Dyalog's Documentation Downloads, but other than that, can anyone recommend a good source?
So the answer is: APL is probably slightly harder to learn, but one can acquire much more power than one ever can do in a conventional language.
“APL is a language worth knowing because it affects the way you think about programming.” As you will soon find out, APL has had such a notorious impact in my programming because APL is the programming language that is most different from everything else I have learned.
APL is an array language, and one of the oldest programming languages still in use today, next to FORTRAN, Lisp and COBOL.
I found a scan of APL: An Interactive Approach.
