I am confused by the difference between touches and taps like touchUpInside
event and one tap
. Are they the same thing?
Touch makes people hold down for a little longer than tap does. And then of course, hold would make you hold down the button longer than tap or touch. Tap generally means you want a quick interaction. If you want the user to quickly release, you would tell them to tap.
Tapping Touch is a holistic-care technique using touch and Rhythm. It is performed by tapping gently with the balls of the fingers of the right and left alternately.
I have found that taps are the number of taps for the gesture to be recognized.
Touches are the number of fingers required to tap for the gesture to be recognized.

A tap is the equivalent of a click, a rapid touch start and touch end (which counts as ONE event)
a touch can be lingering...you may touchdown, then move your finger to the button, then lifting your finger fires the touch up (inside the button)
