I'm updating my SDK Manager in Eclipse, and there are two new downloads:
Android L (API20, L Preview)
Android 4.4W (API20)
I'm confused because they're both referred to as "API 20". And I'm not sure what the "W" in "4.4W" is referring to.
In Android Studio, click File > Project Structure. Select SDK Location in the left pane. The path is shown under Android SDK location.
Get the Android 11 SDK After you install and open Android Studio, install the Android 11 SDK as follows: Click Tools > SDK Manager. In the SDK Platforms tab, select Android 11.
Android api level 19 means the android os version (kitkat). It contains the standard android packages(from Android Open Source Projects). But the google api 19 is the android api 19+ google api's like google settings and other packages provided by google.
L Developer Preview is the preview of Android 5.0
Android 4.4W is Android Wear SDK
Android 4.4W Target Android Watches

while Android L (API20, L Preview) is the preview of the upcoming release of Android. It is subject to change and it's stability is not guaranteed
Android Lollipop is API 21 , so this is possible to differentiate between them:

Android 4.4W is for Android Wear (mostly smart watches).
