To clear the whole thing use the reset_session method in a controller. Resets the session by clearing out all the objects stored within and initializing a new session object. Good luck!
By default rails uses cookies to store the session data. All data is stored in the client, not on the server.
The Session Storage basically consists of 4 main methods. setItem(key, value): This method is used to set the value into the Session Storage based on the key. getItem(key): This method is used to get the value that is stored into the Session Storage. It takes a key and returns the value.
Remove a particular attribute − You can call the public void removeAttribute(String name) method to delete the value associated with the particular key. Delete the whole session − You can call the public void invalidate() method to discard an entire session.
session.delete(:message)
In general, session variable is SessionHash object, which is inherited from hash.
