Visual Studio Code Syntax Highlighting for Excel Formulae/Functions

For convenience, I often temporarily copy large Excel formulae/functions into Visual Studio Code for editing, then copy them back. The software tends to identify those as 'ini' files and highlight them accordingly, which means some of its highlights are questionable. What would be the best highlighting option for editing Excel formulae/functions, whether out of the stock highlighting options, or one that I could easily install as an extension?

It looks like there is no solution for VSCode at the moment, but there is one for Sublime Text. For temporary formula editing, that's what I use. Link: https://github.com/axemonk/Spreadsheet-Formula
