While installing Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1, I am getting this error:
Installation did not succeed. Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 has not been installed because:
Generic Trust Failure.
How can I install Service Pack 1? I am using Windows 7 32 bit.

You can download Visual Studio 2010 from My.VisualStudio.com. My.VisualStudio.com requires a free Dev Essentials subscription, or a Visual Studio Subscription.
To download Visual Basic 2010 Express, launch your web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer) and go to this address: https://s3.amazonaws.com/cspublic/setup/VBExpress.exe. As soon as you click to install, your web browser should either ask you for confirmation or begin the download automatically.
This is the kind of error that can usually be fixed by the System Update Readiness Tool. Give it a shot and see if it solves it.
