Already early on in life, I became interested in modelling complex systems. After reaching the 2nd place in an international discrete event simulation competition I started working as simulation consultant/developer where I worked on capacity studies on a.o. various refineries and the Panama Canal.

Afterwards, I developed myself as Software Development lead and later manager where I proposed, implemented and evaluated new software-development processes, increased the software development team both in size and skill, and improved collaboration between the sales, consultancy and software development departments.

Now that that department was running smoothly again, I went back to my roots in modelling complex systems and started working as a Data Science Consultant.
