I am an enthusiastic software engineer/manager who enjoys finding solutions to challenging problems. I thrive being involved in the full software development life-cycle.

I have enjoyed working on many different projects in a team environment. Learning new technologies and adjusting to work with different personalities comes naturally for me.

The bulk of my recent work has been in C#/WPF on Windows, but I have used many different languages and tools for different platforms including C++ and Delphi on Windows, Java on Android, AJAX/HTML5 for Web and Swift and Objective C on Macintosh.

Currently I manage a small team of excellent software engineers at Ophir-Spiricon. We develop state of the art laser beam diagnostic applications. We capture images of laser beams and using image processing techniques calculate properties of the laser beam. Using this data, our customers improve their beams for medical, military, and industrial applications.

I also have a significant amount of experience in data acquisition software working for Campbell Scientific Inc. This includes the process of collection, storage and display of both real time and historical data. We stored data in flat files and databases (including MySQL, SQL Server, and SQL Server Express).

My Educational background includes a MS and BS in computer science, from Utah State University. My studies included a wide variety of areas including graphics, distributed system design, database design, software engineering, and multi-agent systems.

I am enthusiastic, work well with others, and work hard. I thoroughly enjoy building great quality software.
