I am a lead software engineer with over 15 years of professional experience working with Perl, Golang, Node.js, Docker, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Linux as well as other technologies. I am currently working for RetailOps as Lead Software Engineer working on our ecommerce operations management software, RetailOps (http://retailops.com). While my tasks are varied, I spend most of my time working on infrastructure or programming in Perl, Golang or Node.js on common library, API or background processing modules, many of which integrate with external APIs, such as Amazon, Shopify, Magento, ChannelAdvisor, FedEx and more. I also spend time working on our UI in ExtJS and Ember.

My previous position involved developing an open source MVC framework (https://github.com/biviosoftware/perl-Bivio) and deploying related custom client applications with Bivio Software, Inc. and Normforge, Inc. using agile development methodologies, including test driven development. Additional experience includes owning and operating a successful web business as well as developing data visualization software in Flash/Flex for the Xcelsius product with SAP Business Objects (formerly Infommersion and Business Objects). I have a passion for solving problems and learning everything that I can about software development.
