I'm essentially a 'shadow-IT' intermediate between plant operations and IT. My role fills the need of leadership to "have it now" when it comes to small plant solutions or data analysis.

My competencies include: - VB.NET - VBA for Excel - ADO for VBA and VB.NET - MS Access for databases/queries/forms/VBA - Oracle (SQL Developer) - SQL Server (SSMS) - HTML/CSS (been awhile!) - Excel/Pivot Tables/Excel Lunch & Learn Instructor

Love learning new technology. Currently diving into SQL Server to go beyond creating tables and writing extensive queries. Learning stored procedures, functions and triggers.

My main interests involve developing and "databasing." I also enjoy seeing the joy on my fellow colleague's faces when a solution I've created makes their job (life) easier. Small app/database creation has given our plant an advantage in the global network of our company. Many other plants in the network have asked for some of the apps I've created to be deployed to them! That brings me job satisfaction, knowing that I've provided value to my fellow team-members AND our company.
