Previously a trusted technical advisor and software architect for top companies such as; Microsoft, Just Answer, Wells Fargo, Akili Interactive and Target. Most recently, he developed statistical data visualization applications and database architecture for the cognitive neuroscience research lab at the University of California, San Francisco.
Jeff has written books on SQL Server, presents at developer conferences and actively contributes to open source data visualization libraries. He uses statistical computing to find patterns hidden in data, develops software that flies planes, launches start-ups and improves operations for large events.
Maintaining a deep knowledge of computer science, database design, digital media and scalable web-based architectures has been a long time passion. To that end, Jeff stays current with technology trends through independent course certifications such as Machine Learning through Stanford and Statistical Computing through Johns Hopkins.
One of Jeff’s strongest attributes is his ability to use his broad skills to “see the forest through the trees” and tackle just about any problem. He has a Computer Science degree from the University of Minnesota, considered one of the birthplaces of what is now the modern Internet.
