BY DAY: develop software for weather forecasting. Server-side mostly python 2.7 with matplotlib and numpy, client-side with javascript/jquery. And then the dark side of my job - I have to maintain FORTRAN code, because that is the principal language of meteorology.

DORMANT: have done lots of C++ and Java coding and am glad to be done with Java.

FOR FUN: kite aerial photography, astronomy - these are nice hobbies for DIY, without the need for oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. Built my first home computer in 1975.
