Senior Java developer, fan of Ada using Linux and FreeBSD, I started developing in Microsoft Basic on a Thomson TO9 around 1986 before moving to Amiga 500. This was a fantastic machine for which I only developed few shell scripts.
I then really started coding in Turbo Pascal on good old 486 before doing it as student in CS. Then I learned C, C++ and Java.
Java then became my main language when starting working, most notably in Airbus.
Beside Java, I started learning Ada on my own around 2003 and this is now my favourite language. I mainly develop using Linux or FreeBSD but also on Windows at work.
Now I still program in Java for job, make some Unix shell scripts but I will certainly switch to Typescript with Angular in few months.
