Hello, I'm Phil. I live in Montréal.

I play the guitar and synths sometimes, and I enjoy laughing at life in general.

I hold a Bachelor in Computer Engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal.

Like my fellow electrical, civil, and mechanical engineers, I build stuff. I design and build sophisticated machines which, I hope, make people's lives easier. In my particular field of engineering, those machines are called computer softwares.

I like my machines' plans to be open to anybody, so that my peers may criticize my work, as well as modify them for their own purpose. In my particular field of engineering, this is called open-source software.
