I am a long term fan of StackOverflow mostly focussed on Scala and it's associated technologies. I haven't been a frequent visitor to SO over the last two or three years since I returned to Scotland after living a more relaxed life in the south of France, but I would like to contribute again soon (having got over the shock of being back home).
I have been coding professionally for 25 years and in Scala for the last six years, mostly focussed on connectivity and compute solutions in the Finance sector. I am a co-founder of a small outsourced development company, EileanTech based in Scotland.
