Previous Work

• Knowledge Engineer for Amazon Alexa Sports, owning the data architecture the sports ontology as well as the ETL data pipelines to ping APIs, parse, and clean live updating data. Worked closely with our engineering team to improve Knowledge Engineer tools and natural language understanding.
• Product Manager, Pricing and Data Analytics where I build automation tools in Python and R to scale our automation efforts to create deep insights.

In my off time over the last three years, I have taught myself object-oriented programming and ETL for big data in Python (Pandas, Pyspark), as well as database design with the goal of becoming a data engineer. I became interested in data engineering during my time as a Knowledge Engineer at Amazon Alexa, where I discovered my role heavily leveraged data engineering skills and principles.

My skills include advanced data modeling, ETL architecture, data validation, data warehousing, Python (Pandas, PySpark), R, SQL (MySQL, PostgresQL) as well as dabbling in Flask and AWS Services (S3, Lambda, Redshift).
