I am a senior-level architect and developer balancing doing-it-right and doing-it-right-now. I am a team player, and I create easy-to-maintain and concise elegant code. The best features are the ones that actually get shipped. I am not a know-it-all, and do not know it all, but I quickly pick up what I do not know. I have a long and strong history of creating reactive systems, and am looking into new frameworks to expand my capabilities. I am currently exploring functional, actor, and functional reactive programming, and have a keen interest in big data and the scalable processing of it. I communicate well with most, and enjoy teaching, mentoring and volunteering. I solve the Rubik’s cube in less than two minutes.

While two minutes is nothing special to the world at large, my grandfather was a well-known and respected Rubik's Cube collector -- solving the cube is my way of paying homage to his memory and to pass on the love of the puzzle where I can.
