I'm a self-taught programmer from age 13 on, and I've been using many different platforms and programming languages over the years. I dabbled in C64 assembly and learned Basic, and from then on my future was set.

I've used (Visual/GCC) C++, (Visual) Basic and all it's side-incarnations, JavaScript, HTML & CSS, Fortran, Pascal & Delphi, and unfortunately also Lotus Notes/Domino. Been scripting it all together with batch files, VBScript and Python. Doing Office automation (advanced VBA) as a contractor is my staple diet these days, especially for Excel and Access, though any free time I have got left I spend working on my own applications in the language I truly love - C++.
