I am a software developer and architect with broad experience across the whole stack, an avid learner, and a reluctant leader. These days I find joy in the front-end, with react and react-native as my tools of choice at the moment. I love the energy of startups and small companies where I have the opportunity to wear many hats, and truly influence the direction of the company. I like working with driven people who agree that end user satisfaction is the ultimate goal of any software project.

In the long term, I seek an opportunity with purpose and impact, where I can leverage my 20+ years of building software to affect positive change. But in the meantime, I'm taking full advantage of the freedom afforded me by a steady Freelancing business.

I live in beautiful Colorado, though travel is in my blood. In summers you'll find me working from a coffee shop in the mountains, after a morning of fly fishing or hiking. In winters, I hone my time zone math skills, as I seek out new, exotic and exciting destinations across the globe.
