It is quite a journey.

After finishing my bachelor degree in Mathematics, I opted for the opportunity to go for masters in Computer Applications.

Then the most important era of my life started. A work life, professional life. I started building applications (both standalone, web) with very niche skills Delphi and Firefox. I started to find my happiness building or enhancing applications. (I know, things have changed out there, no more personal attachment with your code, unfortunately I still have.) No documentation, only code, team coordination and fast delivery.

Thriving for new learning and new challenges, I joined a fortune 500 company. Learned process, documentation, new technology. I have been working in the information, media and education domain with the world’s two top universities in the United Kingdom for the last 9+ years.

Initially, I was part of building a complete new web application from scratch as technical lead and senior developer, requirement gathering, designing building blocks and prototypes of the application, designing database schema, developing the application and query, fixing bugs and delivery of it on time. Technology involved was ASP.NET, C#, MVC with response UI design using Bootstrap, jQuery, Entity Framework, Microsoft SQL database.

Then I moved myself into level 3 support engineering, supporting several .NET applications at same time. I learned much more than ever by troubleshooting production issues and debugging codes for several years. While working on these applications, I have gathered experience in primarily ASP.NET, C#, MVC, entity framework, dapper, autofac, automapper, simpleInjector, redis cache, Apache Solr search, SQL queries, Query optimisation, application performance improvement many more. I started growing the knowledge on troubleshooting tools like JMeter, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Selenium IDE, SOAP UI, Fiddler, Wireshark, Performance Monitor, Log Parser, SQL Profiler etc.

At my current employer, I am valued several times as a support pillar for the team and projects. Multiple times, my management team handed over the responsibility to communicate with clients directly and deliver the projects on time with quality maintained. I have consistently demonstrated analytical, communication and get things done attitude.

As a summary, I am a sincere and dedicated person to my responsibilities. I speak less and I am known as go-get-it-done guy. I am learning Microsoft Azure and Azure Machine Learning.
