Formerly a mechanical engineer, Alan moved to designing for the software industry for over a decade, as a Product Designer, User Researcher, Interaction Engineer and Design Lead; spanning across desktop, mobile and web applications.

Alan being an engineer at heart, believes that design doesn’t purely take in the form of an artistic spurt, but rather it is a carefully engineered thought process with outputs that are measurable, repeatable and predictable.

Having a passion in seeking solutions for complex business and user problems, he seeks to understand and develop empathy for the user every time; before crafting customer journeys that are usable, engaging and functional which ultimately leads to profitability.
