upload image from iphone to the server folder

I found few snippet from online to upload image from iphone to the server folder, it's showing to use server side scripting eg. use php at server side

<?php
$uploaddir = 'uploads/';
$file = basename($_FILES['userfile']['name']);
$uploadfile = $uploaddir . $file;

if (move_uploaded_file($_FILES['userfile']['tmp_name'], $uploadfile)) {
        echo "Uploaded!";
}else{
   echo "Not Uploaded!";
}
/>

is it any possibilites to upload image directly to the server folder without the above code,

let say I want to upload into http://111.22.333.44/mysite/pics/ w/o any server side scripting, if can how this can be done

How do I transfer photos from iPhone to server?

For example, to copy a file from iPhone to a Mac file server, touch and hold a file in the Files app on iPhone, then tap Copy. Tap Browse at the bottom of the screen, tap the server in the Browse screen (under Shared), then select a location for the file. Touch and hold the screen, then tap Paste.

What is connect to server in iPhone Files app?

You can use the Files app to access files stored on file servers, other cloud storage providers like Box and Dropbox, and external devices, such as USB drives and SD cards, after you connect them to your iPhone.

Why can't I transfer photos from iPhone to PC?

The first possible reason is an unable USB connection, a corrupted USB drive, or a system glitch, so you can't view iPhone photos on PC. If you have enabled the "iCloud Photo Library" and "Optimize iPhone Storage" options on your iPhone, some of your iPhone photos are stored on iCloud.
