i want to turn off confirmation mail of mail-chimp. I have wondered every where but not getting any response from any site. How i disable . Not any mail just user click subscribe the newsletter and redirect to current site. No need to any confirmation mail from mail chimp. Is this possible.

Click the Settings drop-down and choose Audience name and defaults. Check the box next to Send a final welcome email to turn the final welcome email on, or uncheck the box to turn it off. Scroll down and click Save Audience and Campaign Defaults.
The opt-in confirmation and welcome email are sent by Mailchimp and not by our plugin. You can edit these emails in your Mailchimp dashboard by going to Lists > *one of your lists* > Signup Forms > General forms. You can then select the email you wish to edit from the select box.
To set them up, go to Lists > Signup forms > Form Builder . Then, choose from the Forms and Response Emails > Confirmation Thank You Page. Don't forget to click Save! In fact, that's where most of the customization settings related to MailChimp opt-in signup take place.
Click the Manage Audience drop-down and choose Settings. Click Audience name and defaults. Under Form Settings, check or uncheck the box next to Enable double opt-in as needed.
You cannot disable MailChimp's "double opt-in" feature if you are serving one of their proprietary subscription forms. The only way to disable the confirmation email is to create a custom subscription form that invokes the MailChimp API using the 'double_optin' => false parameter.
