Where does TortoiseSVN save credentials?

Figure 4.5. Enter your username and password. The checkbox will make TortoiseSVN store the credentials in Subversion's default directory: %APPDATA%\Subversion\auth in three subdirectories: svn.

When Tortoise SVN was not saving my user/password credentials I solved the problem by going to TortoiseSVN settings -> Saved Data -> Clear Authentication data (see image below). Also check AllowAuthSave is set to true in TortoiseSVN settings -> Advanced.

Clear Authentication Data in TortoiseSVN settings

If this doesn't work then there may be further set-up required where certificates are involved which I am unfamiliar with.

I hope this helps.
