So I made this test application and uploaded it to developer console, but because it was my first application it's package is named com.myfirstapp.program. now later I have made much better version of the same program and this time it is under proper package name, however google play wont let me upload my new program because package name is different. And I really dont want to use com.myfirstapp.program. Is there anything I can do? I tried searching if I could delete my apk entirely but found out it is impossible, so I am kind of stuck here.
Just go to the My Apps section Google Play Store and log in. Then select your device and click the trashcan icon next to an app, and verify you want to uninstall it. That's it, you can delete any app you want from your Google Play Store download history. Plus, you can delete your Google Play Store search history too.
Log in to Google Play Console with your developer credentials; Click on the app you want to unpublish; Under the Release section, click on Setup, and select Advanced settings; In App Availability, click on the Unpublish button and Save.
Depends what OS you're running. Android 6+ should have a built-in file manager, so just go in to the "My Files” application, search for the APK file, and long press it, then tap "Delete” in the upper right-hand corner.
Once your app is removed, the published version of your app won't be available on Google Play until you submit a compliant update. If your app has been suspended after receiving a warning, an appeal is required. Your users, statistics, and ratings will be retained once you submit a compliant update for a removed app.
