Humble Bundle has started requiring the user to sign in through Steam's OpenID authentication where it then redeems the Steam key on the user's account. I was unable to find any documentation on this subject.
Is the system open for redeeming games on connected accounts to other developers to use, other than Humble Bundle? If so, how can this be done? I'm looking for example code or a link to documentation.
Navigate to your download page, and click the Reveal your Steam key button. This will generate your Steam product key for registering to your account. TIP: If you have not received your download page yet, try searching your Purchases page! Example: A download page containing Steam keys for Might and Magic games.
When you purchase something on Humble Bundle, you'll get a key to redeem on Steam, Ubisoft Connect Desktop App, GOG, or another platform. Many of our books and games are also offered DRM-free.
They later expanded into a Humble Store, which sells DRM-free games and Steam keys (depending on the game) individually. Yes, they're legit; they get their keys directly from the publisher/developer.
There is no public documentation. OAuth use is private for the moment. Only some pages have it, like Humble Bundle and DOTA 2. The rest of us can only use OpenID.
