I've problem with libcurl. I wrote simple program which should post data (fill the form) but program's not working. My form:
...
<div><label for="id_person_name">Your name</label> <input type="text" id="id_person_name" name="name" /></div>
<div></div>
<div class="clear"></div>
<div><label for="id_comment">Comment</label><textarea name="comment" id="id_comment" rows="10" cols="60" class="txt"></textarea></div>
...
Program:
#include <curl/curl.h>
#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
int main(){
CURL *curl;
CURLcode res;
curl = curl_easy_init();
if(curl) {
curl_easy_setopt(curl, CURLOPT_URL, "http://examplesite.com");
curl_easy_setopt(curl, CURLOPT_POST, 1);
curl_easy_setopt(curl, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, "name=Bjarne&comment=example");
res = curl_easy_perform(curl);
curl_easy_cleanup(curl);
cout << endl;
}
return 0;
}
Of course i tested this code: http://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/postit2.html but it's not working.
Can anyone help me ?
libcurl supports SSL certificates, HTTP POST, HTTP PUT, FTP uploading, HTTP form based upload, proxies, HTTP/2, HTTP/3, cookies, user+password authentication (Basic, Digest, NTLM, Negotiate, Kerberos), file transfer resume, http proxy tunneling and more!
To post a file with Curl, use the -d or -F command-line options and start the data with the @ symbol followed by the file name. To send multiple files, repeat the -F option several times.
libcurl is a library of functions that are provided with a C API, for applications written in C. You can easily use it from C++ too, with only a few considerations (see libcurl for C++ programmers).
More details are found in the libcurl-easy man page. The multi interface on the other hand is an asynchronous interface, that you call and that performs only a little piece of the transfer on each invoke. It is perfect if you want to do things while the transfer is in progress, or similar.
you need to set CURLOPT_URL
to address which <form>
points, as shown here, for example.
The code from the above link is:
