Pin icons to taskbar

Question

How can I pin the shortcut icons to windows 7 taskbar using NSIS installer?

I tried to place them in below location but it doesnt work well

%AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar
