I've just installed latest pgAdmin (4.7) and whenever I start it up I get this strange blank popup which I can not remove:
I can use the application just fine I just need to move that empty window to the side which is annoying. I'm using Firefox version 67 (64bit).
The File Menu¶ Click to open the Preferences dialog to customize your pgAdmin settings. If you have modified the workspace, click to restore the default layout.
To open pgAdmin, select pgAdmin4 from the EDB Postgres menu. The client opens in your default browser. To connect to the Advanced Server database server, expand the Servers node of the Browser tree control, and right click on the EDB Postgres Advanced Server node. When the context menu opens, select Connect Server .
pgAdmin 4 Architecture pgAdmin is designed to monitor and manage multiple PostgreSQL and EDB Advanced Server database servers, both local and remote, through a single graphical interface that allows the easy creation and management of database objects, as well as a number of other tools for managing your databases.
Show activity on this post. i just installed the new pgadmin 4 v5.0, after uninstalling v4.30. so it uses its own desktop app window, instead of browser (web interface is still available, but its not the default)
Nothing looks suspicious. You can disabled each one at a time, reboot to pinpoint. It's hard to say what the pop-ups are as the screenshot does not show a name or anything.
You can open Task manager (ctrl/alt/delete) click on Startup tab. Look there to see what it could be. Or provide a screenshot to better help. Hope this helps! Was this reply helpful? I've solved the issue by resetting the layout from the pgAdmin menu.
