i've looked the web, but all i could find were bugs regarding dual screen, and not how to set it up. I cant seem to find anywere in the options dialougue on how to do it?
You can drag the tab to the top or bottom of the window to get a top-bottom split. If you want to reverse the split, just drag the tab back to the tab bar.
Click on the tab of one of the source files without releasing the mouse button (and without holding any additional keys), and drag toward either the right side of the editing area, or toward the bottom of the editing area (depending on whether you want them side-by-side or stacked).
Multi-window mode enables multiple apps to share the same screen simultaneously. The system can display two apps side by side or one above the other (split-screen mode), one app in a small window overlaying other apps (picture-in-picture mode), or individual apps in separate movable, resizable windows (free-form mode).
Grab a document tab (or in fact any IDE window) and drag it to another screen. That's what works for me.
