I'm looking at my options for putting adverts on my website and thought I'd start with Google Adsense - However I'm unsure of exactly how many adverts you can actually have per page. I'm guessing it's OK to mix and match banners with say advert blocks, etc, etc - So what is the maximum total number you can have on a single page?

Since Google states that ad content shouldn't exceed written content, our experts suggest a healthy ratio to achieve a good UX and maintain a better value of ad inventory–30% of ads and 70% of the content. If you decide to serve more than 1 to 3 ads per page, you must first look at your site's content.
Ad serving limits are account-level enforcements that restrict the number of ads that your AdSense account can show. Limited ad serving impacts publishers' earnings directly because fewer ads are shown to users which means fewer clicks and less revenue as a result.

Google Adsense Ads Per Page Limit has been lifted according to recent policy change. Google makes the publishers happy with this recent change. Now publishers can place more than 3 ads, which will eventually result into more income.
