Is there a keyboard shortcut that splits the RStudio window in half with the source on the left and console on right (and hides all other panes) as per screenshot below?

Split Screen with Keyboard Shortcuts in Windows Windows also gives us keyboard shortcuts to split the screen. At any time you can press Win + Left/Right Arrow to move the active window to the left or right.
Windows key + SHIFT + . Moves the split to the LEFT if you are in split screen mode or cycles (Docks current app to left, right, or center of screen.) the open applications shiftingg their position in split screen.
Here are two keyboard shortcuts to move window: Win + Left Arrow: snap the window to the left.
Now let’s start to divide the screen into two, followed by three and four divisions. This is very simple. Just hold and keep dragging the window on either side till you see the split indication: Subsequently, you can do this for the other window to split the display in half.
When the window you want to select for the second half of your screen is framed, confirm the selection by pressing the Enter key. Once you’ve placed the first window in a quarter of your screen, the miniature view disappears.
Let’s do it the last time and divide the screen into four parts by dragging each one to a corner: Alternatively, we can do this with windows shortcuts as well. Please remember to avoid maximizing any window.
When two windows are split, one will occupy the left 50% of the screen, and the other will take the right 50%. If there are three windows, one window on either left or right side will occupy 50% screen space and the other two will each take the top and bottom of the remaining area.

There is no shortcut that will arrange the panels properly. However, you can save their layout! Whenever you need it, you can load any panel layout. The layout of the panels is saved in the rstudio-prefs.json file which is located (in the case of Windows) in C:\Users\UserName\ AppData\Roaming\RStudio where, of course, UserName is the name of the current user. You only need to save this file once when RStudio has your favorite panel layout and then you copy it where you want to quickly recall it.
I checked it and it works for me without any problems. Unfortunately, changing the layout of the panels will only work after restarting RStudio.
