consider two apps:
In-app purchases are certain items.
The premium version is able to do different things with those items.
I would like to sell the premium version, but keep the in-app purchases the user might have purchased within the free version-assuming the the user uses the same itunes account.
Is that possible?
Thanks in advance, marimba
If you have made an in-app purchase then these should automatically show up with Android devices, however, if you made in-app purchases on an iOS device you will need to visit the shop to restore your purchases.
When you turn on purchase sharing, everyone in your family gets access to apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books that family members buy. The family organizer is billed for family members' purchases. Some items can't be shared.
Creating a duplicate copy of an app icon is easy. Find the app in the App Library, then drag a new copy of it onto your Home Screen: Swipe to the App Library at the right edge of all your Home Screens. Look through the various folders or use the Search bar to find the app you want to duplicate.
You do not have to pay twice for the same apps ...
The only way I know is to upload the customer's product list to a server, then give both programs access to the server. That doesn't solve the problem of having to create two sets of In-App Purchases in iTunes Connect.
BTW this is just ONE way that Apple's IAP is not up to the task.
