I've been trying to display them, but to no avail. I'm wondering if there's a trick to displaying them, because I'm able to get clients such as Outlook to display SVG's. It's really bothering me that gmail can't display them.
SVG is not supported in many email clients.
I've heard back from Google support, and they've confirmed there are currently no plans to support SVG images in the proxy.
You can now use Google search to find SVG documents. SVG is an open, XML-based format for vector graphics with support for interactive elements.
How to open an SVG file. From Chrome and Edge to Safari and Firefox, all the major browsers allow you to open SVG files these days — whether you're on a Mac or Windows. Just launch your browser and click on File > Open to choose the file you want to view. It'll then be displayed in your browser.
Google Gmail does not support SVG at this time. Google Gmail Support said that they will not support it last time i contacted them. Maybe some time in the distant future when SVG becomes more popular and widely used.
