Do you know if Huawei P9 lite does support Fingerprint?
Is it possible to use Android 6.0 Fingerprint API or is it supported through some custom proprietary API (Huawei SDK)?
We are evaluating to buy some smartphones and we would like to know how this feature is supported on this specific device.

At the very beginning, unlock your HUAWEI P9 Lite 2017 and open the Settings. In the second step, scroll the list and select Security & privacy. This is the time to tap on the Fingerprint ID to set up your own fingerprint.
The Huawei P9 makes it easy to protect your smartphone with the new and improved built-in fingerprint sensor on both of the new smartphones by Huawei.
The P9 and P9-lite both do support fingerprints.
