I have an e-mail address [email protected]
and we use Yandex Mail for sending / receiving mails. I also set the profile picture in Yandex Passport but it's not shown in Gmail when I send an e-mail from Yandex to Gmail.
How Gmail find out the profile picture of the emails from third party services? The profile pictures are not included in email payload and e-mail providers doesn't use a global avatar service such as Gravatar. Is there anything that I can do to make it work?
Now that you are sign in, go to google.com and click on the upper right hand corner Icon, it will let you change your profile of your Google account (which is now your Google Plus account linked to [email protected]). In the Google Plus account, simply update your profile photo and save it.
Can non-Gmail recipients view the profile photo of email sent from a Gmail user? Or can it be viewed only between emails of Gmail users? No, only Gmail users can view. Although you can search Google plus to wiew their photo with their email ID.
Click the Accounts and import tab. In the "Check mail from other accounts" section, click Add a mail account. Type the email address of the other account, then click Next. Make a selection and click Next.
After Google closed down G+ for non-G-Suite users the solution given before no longer works. An effective way is now setting up your webmail as an alternate email in your google account settings as explained here
