I have an iOS app. Recently, macOS app automatically appeared in App Store Connect.
I do not plan to publish iOS app on macOS. How can I get rid of it? I opened "iOS Apps on Mac Availability" popup and marked my iOS app as "Don't make available", but this macOS 1.0 version is still here.
The answer is that you Mouse over the icon for your build and at the end of the line you'll see a little colored minus in a circle. This removes the build and you can now click on the + sign and choose a new build for submitting.
Log into your App Store Connect account at https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/. Go to "My Apps" and click into the app you're looking to take down. Go to the Pricing and Availability tab. Under Availability > Choose "Remove From Sale" > Save.
Press and hold the Option (⌥) key, or click and hold any app until the apps jiggle. Click Delete button next to the app that you want to delete, then click Delete to confirm.
Press and hold the Option (⌥) key, or click and hold any app until the apps jiggle. Click Delete button next to the app that you want to delete, then click Delete to confirm. The app is deleted immediately. Apps that don't show either didn't come from the App Store or are required by your Mac.
If all territories were previously selected, click specific territories to display the list of all territories. To remove your app from all App Store territories, click Deselect All and then click Save. Your app status is changed to Developer Removed From Sale. To delete your app, click More and then click Delete App . To confirm, click Delete.
To remove a Mac App Store app that appears in Launchpad. Follow these steps while you are logged in with an administrator account: Enter Launchpad. Click and hold on an icon until you see all icons jiggle. Click the "x" button in the upper-left of the Mac App Store app icon you want to delete.
Let Us Shed Light Note: Once you delete your app from the Apple App Store, you will not be able to reuse the app name or SKU, and you will not be able to restore your app. An alternative to deleting your app is simply removing it from sale on the Apple App Store.
You can add another version under the iOS App part, then the remove icon will appear when your mouse hovers on the version you would like to remove.
I think there is a bug in App Store Connect as I added both macOS and tvOS versions to my app. After selecting General, App Information I can hover over either macOS or tvOS version and a red delete sign appears and if I delete one it then won't let me delete the second. I've added an image below showing the red delete button.
